Mother daughter black belt strength training
My daughter has been so consistent. She has been dedicated to me and to this process of growing stronger and more skilled. I told her when we started this that we would not miss a day unless we had already decided beforehand to miss a day that it wouldn’t be something we decided in the moment. We have done this training when we were injured and when we were sick. I’m so impressed with her consistency.
However, I don’t want consistency to become some kind of OCD compulsion
I talk to her about taking one day a week off starting next Sunday. I told her about times when I had done things in the past that took on a life of their own because of their consistency and how I wanted to be careful as we went ahead.
She said it would be a great idea to take Sundays off (I told her we would take the time in Sunday’s to talk about books) but she wanted to do it longer on our regular times, because she wants to be stronger.
This is our new plan. I am going to have to com up with a new tracking systems. Maybe weeks? I don’t know.
I wanted to share our change with those who have been supportive of this journey
